Customer's carBMW X5 xDrive35d M SportHydrogen gas carbon cleaning I was.
The current mileage is about 125,000 km.
You said that you use it for work commuting and long drives.
The engine is a N57D30A type, straight 6 diesel turbo full-time 4WD, and the power torque is powerful, isn't it?
Since the mileage is increasing, it was constructed with future maintenance and engine refresh.
If you listen to the engine sound before construction, the engine sound is very quiet.
As expected! BMW's straight 6 engine...Silky Six, isn't it?
However, I was a little worried about the vibration... it's a characteristic of a diesel engine.
After checking the engine sound, vibrations, exhaust from the muffler, etc. and making preparations, we will turn on the hydrogen gas.
At first, start with 100㎖/h, and gradually increase the amount of hydrogen input while checking the condition of the engine.

Checking the muffler 10 minutes after the start of construction, it seems that the moisture in the exhaust gas has increased.
After 20 minutes from the start of construction, the vibration that I was worried about subsided.
From the middle, the engine sound became even quieter, and the air intake sound changed to a smooth flowing sound.
After 50 minutes of increasing the amount of hydrogen input, the engine sound/vibration, exhaust sound, and the touch of the exhaust gas seemed to have calmed down, so the construction was finished here.
We asked them to check the engine sound and vibration after construction.
'The engine is very quiet! It feels like a gasoline engine, with no vibration.”
I was told.
Diesel engines, unlike gasoline engines, are ignited by compression, so they inevitably produce vibrations and unique engine sounds.
By removing the carbon after the combustion chamber, the flow of the exhaust becomes clean, and as a result, the intake and fuel injection, and the compression and combustion can be well balanced.
This leads to a reduction in the vibration and noise peculiar to diesel engines.
I'm looking forward to driving after construction! Said it.
I am looking forward to hearing about the changes you felt after the construction.
Looking forward to your report.
Diesel engines seem to be more prone to injector failure and clogging than gasoline engines.
We also stock injector cleaners for diesel and gasoline engines.
We recommend simultaneous construction with hydrogen gas carbon cleaning.
